Summary
Mark pulls up another chair and starts shuffling through the papers. Adam looks at Lawrence, who looks back at him, and they have some sort of psychic exchange about not wanting Mark there, but apparently Mark isn’t susceptible to mind control, so he remains. Adam figures he’s still on babysitting duty: either that, or he doesn’t want them to unionize while he’s gone.
Amanda tells him: You’ll get used to it. And he does. It’s not so different from what he’s already used to, anyway. Stalk some poor loser, take a few pictures, report back to his employers. Except they’re not his employers, they’re- well. Something.

Lisa’s taking Daniel out to dinner at a cheap burger joint when it happens. He sees him- wearing a trench coat, sitting next to some guy in a suit, across from some other guy with kinda long hair. “Oh my God,” he says, interrupting the story Lisa had been telling him.
“What?”
“It’s- Oh my God, Lis, it’s my gay husband.”
"Your-”
He gets up and walks over to the table, still in shock. “Emmanuel?”
“Hello, Daphne. It’s Cas, now.”
“Oh,” he says. “It’s, uh. It’s Daniel now.”
(in which: the character previously known as daphne allen is a transmasc lesbian and dates lisa braeden)

Summary
Meg isn’t weak. But she’s lonely. She’s glad she has him, of course, but there’s always that hope for something more. Cas sleeps now: he didn’t used to, he explains to her one day, but he wanted to see what it was like to dream. The situation is inherently absurd, but there’s something almost beautiful about it: a demon watching over an angel as he sleeps, curled up peacefully beneath the covers. She wishes he could join him. The first time it happens, she’s overtaken by something so fond, so human, that she gives him a kiss on the forehead. She’d never let anyone know.
He talks about Dean often. It makes her hate him, filled with a sort of jealousy that she doesn’t understand, but it also makes her think that she could probably sort out their differences pretty easily if they all just hopped into bed together.

Summary
Dean treats his body as if it is a punishment: for the crime of existing, he must live in a body that he believes will never be his home. Castiel wishes (Cas, it’s Cas now, he thinks, and again feels a peculiar little twinge of satisfaction and longing) that he could make Dean see himself the way he deserves to be seen. You are beautiful, he wants to say. More so than most: body and soul, you create yourself. You are capable of so much, of building a home in your body, but you don’t think you deserve to live in it.

Summary
When she sees him, she thinks she might be dreaming. “Oh my God,” she says. Deanna (that’s probably not his name anymore) stares back at her in shock. Finally he breaks the silence by saying,
“Uh. This is my brother, Sam.”
“Hi, Sam,” she says. “I’m Cassie.” Gotta work the new name in somehow.
“Hi,” Sam says. “Always nice to meet one of Dean’s- friends.”
Dean. She’s still trying to piece together the fact that her ex-girlfriend is now her ex-boyfriend, though considering Dean’s expression, he’s doing the same thing.
