Summary
In the autumn of 1950s England, Jannik Sinner leaves behind the narrow streets of his northern town for St. Augustine’s, a university made of stone courtyards and high expectations.
When he gets there, he's assigned to share a room with Carlos Alcaraz, a warm-spirited student whose ease stands in gentle contrast to Jannik’s reserve. What he imagined as a solitary year becomes something else entirely: a slow unravelling of habits, assumptions, and the small defences he has carried since childhood. -

Summary
Carlos Alcaraz, at 26, has spent seven years building his reputation as a male nanny. His multilingual skills and musical background have helped him succeed in a field where male nannies are uncommon. When his agency contacts him about a new position, they hadn’t given much detail. Just that a wealthy, single father - Jannik Sinner - needs a full-time nanny for his two children and the pay is exceptional.
