    She hadn’t expected him to shyly look down at his hands, his feet touching the ground. Eyes obscured by the shadow his hat cast over his face, Nene thought he almost looked embarrassed.

    “Well, yeah,” he mumbled, pooching his lips and averting his gaze, revealing a red ear. “I thought that was obvious by now.”
