Summary
When did summer begin for you? It might sound implausible, but my summer began on a cool, September afternoon. Sweeping in unexpectedly onto the rooftop, summer found me in the form of a vibrant, dazzling boy, forevermore disrupting the structure of my life. But summer fades as the autumn breeze sets in. Maybe we were always meant to end. Maybe we could have out-lasted fate. Maybe we could have been the brightest stars hanging together in the endless sky. Standing upon this wintry rooftop, all that’s left is an unnatural silence and a story for me to tell.

Stories were always meant to be told - or they would die, forgotten and erased from our minds. Lan Zhan refuses to forget. He would stubbornly weave their story into words and lyrics for the rest of his life, as he retraces the steps of those bygone days.
