Her tail kinked as she leaped off the slab, eyes twinkling the way they did when she was getting to the good part of the story. “But that’s all in the ways that they love us! They see every stumble and dead end, but they’ll never, ever let you walk your path alone.”
Is that in the ways they loved me too, Leafpool thought, by giving me a sibling like you?

Summary
Looking between Lan Zhan, so clearly pleased with himself, and the orange in his hand, Wei Wuxian cannot help but burst into a fit of poorly-contained laughter.
"Ah, what a hearty meal you've provided for me, Hanguang-Jun!" he sighs as the giggles subside. As far as Lan Zhan’s drunken preoccupation with giving away food goes, this is a bit of a downgrade from two whole, extremely fresh chickens. Or perhaps Wei Ying has simply become spoiled.
(Wei Wuxian comes back from his walkabout. Lan Wangji gives Emperor's Smile another try and worries for his friend's dietary habits.)

Summary
After all they've been through, it's strange that something so important could be so simple, but for Miles and Phoenix, falling in love, at least, doesn't have to be the end of the world.
Some stress relief fluff that I wrote purely to cheer myself up - there is literally negative plot but there is a lot of lawyers falling into the bright and bitter kind of love that can only come from a lifetime of belligerent teamwork.
(The anxiety tag just refers to Edgeworth's reaction to earthquakes and mentions of a psychologist, btw)
