Summary
His eyes opened, and Shota was greeted with the sight of the love of his life beside him in their bed. Sunlight peeked in through their curtains, illuminating their room and the sight in front of him. His heart melted at the knowledge that he would get to see this sight for the rest of his life. His fiancé looked so damn hot with his glasses perched on his nose—a sight that he always loved—and he was reading one of the books Shota had gifted him for his birthday. Ren was shirtless, strong muscles on display as a warm blanket covered his waist, and the dark shorts that he knew the other man fell asleep in. It was perfect, really. The most beautiful sight to see first thing in the morning, and Shota knew he was going to be lucky enough to start each day like this over and over again.
For the rest of their lives.

Ren flipped the page of his book again, before idly running his fingers through Shota’s hair again. He sucked in as much of a breath as he could through his nose, eyes squeezed shut as he tried to avoid shifting again. He could feel the drool dripping from his mouth, feeling his wet skin and knowing it was dripping down on Ren’s thigh too, not that the other man had said anything. Except for occasionally stroking his hair or the few words he spoke, Ren had actually been ignoring him and there was something really hot about that too.

It had been during breakfast that Shota realized he had never cooked a meal for Ren before, at least not by himself. He had helped the other man cook countless of times and had ordered more meals than he could count, but he had never put the time or effort into preparing a meal fully for Ren. He was never much of a cook, especially compared to the skills the other man had, but he wanted to try. It was important to him to try, even if the vegetables were poorly chopped, or it didn’t look anything like the recipe he was trying to follow. He knew Ren wouldn’t care about any of that. It was the thought that counted here, and Shota just wanted some small way to show the other man that he was on his mind, and he wanted to care for the one that he loved. Just like Ren always cared for him. Ren was always taking care of him, and Shota felt the love the other man had for him every single day. After all, all of this came to his mind during their breakfast, which Ren had prepared for him.

Ren knew tonight was going to be a night he was never going to forget.
They had just arrived at their hotel, and he couldn’t stop staring at the belt draped across the top of his bags knowing that he had finally done it. He was riding high off of his victory and nothing else really mattered. Not right now. Not tonight. All he wanted was just to be here with Shota, knowing the other man loved and supported him through all the ups and downs. He was glad that his faction understood that, and none of them had invited him out that night. Though he had caught Nobu trying to switch rooms as he was leaving the locker room to try and find Shota. The other man had been on his mind all night and he couldn’t wait to return to the hotel to be with the man that he loved.
