Midoriya Izuku wasn’t fragile, he had just been run over by a train and gotten up again. Sure, he was quirkless (was he even?), but not fragile. Not having a quirk didn’t mean he was fragile or useless or worthless. All it meant was that he had been handed an opportunity that no one else could have known he had.
If no one had ever tried to kill him, Izuku wouldn’t know that he couldn’t die.(excerpt is from chapter 4 but is a good indication of the themes)

He will walk down busy hallways with his shoulders hunched and his eyes on the ground. He will shuffle around with his bright red shoes hoping not to be noticed because being noticed does not mean company.
It means harsh words and harsher hands, surrounded by hateful faces- but always, he will be alone.Sometimes, it is easy to ignore. If he kept himself busy with quirk analyses and late night runs across rooftops, then surely his mind should never have the chance to wander
