Summary
It's been 10 years since Sonic last saw Shadow, and in that decade, life had not been kind. He's stumbling through adulthood with no sense of direction or purpose, crumbling under the existential dread of aging, and to top it off, is suffering through an exhausting divorce process. Just as his whole world seems to be collapsing around him, however, an old friend returns... And might just be the lifeline he didn't realise he needed.
Now Sonic is having to navigate adulthood, heartbreak, grief and whatever these new (or maybe old) feelings are for his ex-rival. The strangest part is that Shadow seems to be the stable, emotionally competent one. What he doesn't know is that shadow is hiding a secret of his own- Ten years of feelings that he thought he'd let go of threatening to return.
This is a future-set Sonadow slow -burn where Sonic and Shadow reconnect after a decade of no contact. A mix of hurt/comfort, slice-of-life, humour, drama, fluff and spice (eventually). Themes include grief, romance, friendship, aging panic, unconditional love/care, and a flipped dynamic- Sonic is the one falling apart, and Shadow is the one who’s already healed.

Summary
Shadow's life has been full of mistakes, some worse than others, but admitting his unrequited feelings to Sonic tops the list. He's spent the better part of a decade ruminating on his regret and hiding from feelings he couldn't bear to face. He never thought he'd see Sonic again, and he told himself that was for the best.
Until now.
At the bequest of his former rival, and in an attempt to finally get closure, Shadow has returned to Central City. The reason?
Sonic the Hedgehog is marrying Amy Rose.
And Shadow is invited.

Summary
Dr. Eggman, a supposed evil genius, decided that it was embarrassing to keep getting into brawls with teenage hedgehogs, for a living, and keep losing. After the Doctor's retirment, and with everyone's newfound free time, Team Sonic decided to pursue their own hobbies. But the hero, Sonic himself, decided that he needed more- he ventures off on his own. After not making anything of himself and being tired of labeled as a 'has-been,' he comes back only to find out that his old teammates are way more successful than he ever was. How will his old teammates respond to seeing him again? How will Sonic find his footing?
