   Summary

The Tortoise of Carnage isn’t the only thing that doesn’t see the light of day again. Wei Wuxian will not, and Lan Wangji doesn’t believe he will either.

Alternatively, Wei Wuxian dies alongside the Xuanwu of Slaughter that day, nestled deep inside the caves of Mt. Muxi. Lan Wangji spends 2.5 days with his corpse, and 2 days trudging back to Gusu.
