Summary
Mydei runs away from his home at age fourteen without so much of an plan, ends up stranded at the 7-Eleven outside Aedes Elysiae. By pure happenstance, Phainon runs into him. Their lives from there unfold together--a bit messily, with many bumps along the road, but it's raw. It's authentic. It's inexplicably them.

Summary
Almost as if on cue, a pulse of energy began thrumming from the north. The grounds shook, and the murky waters of the River of Souls collided and crashed in tides. In the sky, one of Oronyx’s stars shined brighter than any other in the vicinity.
Somehow, Mydei knew this instinctively: the world belonging to that light was that of no other. It belonged to the very first Phainon of Aedes Elysiae––the 0th turn.
The system thrummed in apprehension, warning him.

So be it, then. It seemed that if Mydei wanted to observe the 0th turn, he would have to do so as a constellation.
His hand hovered over the display screen, the camera displaying a still young, not-quite worn Deliverer yet. He smiled softly.
Perhaps he could be a little selfish––just this once.
An ORV AU where Mydei is the one who stayed behind and Phainon is the one who searched for him after every cycle. Major ORV spoilers as events mostly take place during the epilogue.
