In the time you’d gotten to know him, you’d never found the words to properly describe Oikawa Tooru. He was full of contradictions: he’s a team player, he’s an arrogant jerk; he’s a sharp observer, he’s a clueless idiot; he’s so popular, but doesn’t seem to have a lot of real friends. Oikawa is a puzzle, and you want to be the one to solve him.
Oikawa is at a loss. You don’t seem interested in the surface-level interactions that are usually enough for people. Much like Iwaizumi, you don’t have much appreciation for his charms and flattery. Being genuine with someone was a bit out of his depth, but your friendly teasing and casual demeanor find him sharing more of himself than he’s used to.
