The relationship between 2D and Murdoc has always been complicated. From the very first moment they met—when 2D was still working at his uncle’s music store—to the tragic news of Murdoc’s arrest.
Even though Murdoc was abusive toward 2D, there was something that made the singer crave him. 2D felt a strange attraction to Murdoc, a bizarre tenderness, an immense gratitude.
After Murdoc’s arrest, 2D felt as if the world were falling apart. Now, the depressed singer, without his beloved bandmate and with no future in sight, is responsible for writing the band’s next album
