“If—” Levi cut himself off with a singular, fierce head shake and sighed audibly. “If I told you, would it make a difference? Any difference at all?”
The question was like Levi doused him with ice water, leaving his blood running cold. His first instinct was to emphatically say yes, it absolutely would make a difference.
