Summary
Dear Andrew Doe,
I am not picking one of the pen pals that’s in California or whatever. I am going to write a fake name and a fake address and send this letter to a fake person. The teacher won’t let me leave until I send this to someone.
Bye
Alex*
Neil Josten sent fake letters to Andrew Doe for years, thinking they disappeared into the void.
Andrew Minyard received every single one.

Summary
“Were you terribly bored in my absence?” Andrew snarks. “I thought you knew how to keep yourself entertained.”
Neil blushes, even though Andrew couldn't possibly be talking about that. He glances off to the side and pretends to read the label on the wine bottle.
But Andrew, because he is Andrew, catches on. A quirk of his brow. A curious glimmer in his eyes.
“Oh, have I kept you waiting?”
“Shut up.” Neil feels it when Andrew's fingers dig into his jaw. “Kiss me?”
And Andrew, because he is Andrew, complies.Alternatively: a (very late) Valentine’s day special starring a vibrator strapped to Andrew's leg, and one sexually repressed Neil Josten.

Summary
Neil channels all of his energy into looking incredibly unbothered, like getting caught crashing a wedding by the groom’s twin-slash-best man was all part of his grand plan.
The other man breaks the silence first. “Who are you?”
Stubbornly, Neil keeps his ass planted on the ground while he racks his brain for the bride’s name. Kate? Kathryn? Katie? Oh, right—“I’m Katelyn’s cousin.”
The best man tilts his head, observes Neil, and says, “No, try again.”
Fuck.
*
Neil is no stranger to crashing weddings. This one would've been a walk in the park, if not for the groom’s twin getting in his way.

Summary
Neil has some information on Andrew in his binder already, but not much, and it's still mostly centered around Kevin; it also carries the distinct clinging of his life before, back when he was on the run, and Andrew's the one who told him to stay.
While a binder isn't a bad idea, that one seems like the wrong one, which is how Neil comes to the conclusion to just get another.
(Or, Neil revisits an old hobby.)

Summary
Neil runs because it's everything to him, but he also runs because there isn't anything else for him to do. Turns out, freedom and living are foreign concepts to him. Running and survival? Not so much.
He went back to creature comforts, the only ones he'd ever known. What else was he supposed to do? What else was he meant to yearn for? Can't want something you never knew existed, after all.
Enter Andrew Minyard.
