The thunder groans menacingly outside, the heavy rain not easing up even for a moment – hitting the window with such force it's a miracle it doesn't break the glass. But it's okay because they're here – under this roof together, on the same, comfortable mattress and He Tian can feel Guan Shan's warmth even though they don't touch except for their intertwined legs.

He Tian swallows hard and closes his eyes, leaning down, hiding his face in the crook of Guanshan's neck while his right hand slips between their bodies.

Summary
He Tian kisses his neck softly. Rests his sharp chin on his shoulder. Guan puts the knife away, leaning his hands against the countertop. It takes some time to come to his senses. Then, ignoring the weight on his shoulder and the hands on his stomach, he takes back the knife and starts slicing the beef into large chunks. He somehow manages to disengage himself from Tian until the latter says:
“Stay for tonight”, and adds more quietly, “please”.

"... What about you? Why are you still working?" Yoohan asked, his mouth running loose from needing more sleep and turning his filter off.
Jay blinked at his question, like he was surprised by it, but he bounced back quickly. His eyes sparkled with mirth when he teased Yoohan. "What's this? Are you feeling lonely since I wasn't with you in bed?"
Yoohan woke up alone on a cold bed, and went to find Jay.
