Kaeya stared at the water in front of him. The ocean seemed so vast, neverending. Calm yet wild. Powerful let loving. Ironically, it reminded him of Diluc. The teen let out a watery laugh. He ignored the way his tears made the wound ache even more. He reached a hand up to wipe away his tears, making the sand stick to his skin. Kaeya closed his eyes and sighed. He needed to go back to the city, to get his injury checked out and find a place to sleep for the night.The boy listened to the sounds of the waves.
He could stay for a little while longer.
Just to calm himself down.
Kaeya walked upon the shoreline of the beach. A beach he had spent far too many hours at. A beach he had far too many memories of, both happy and sad. Nonetheless, he forced a smile on his face as now wasn't the time to be sad.
OR: Kaeya, Klee, and Albedo spend the day at the beach, resulting in Kaeya getting stuck in his head and memories resurfacing.
