“What are you doing up?” Nat whispers. Misty doesn’t respond, she stays completely unmoving, staring at the fire.
From his prison only a few steps away, Ben lets out a particularly guttural sob, making Nat cringe.
“Misty?” She calls, and still no response.
She makes her way over carefully, crouching down in front of Misty and taking her face into her hands.
“You need to go to sleep, you shouldn’t be out here.” Nat tells her. Misty just stares, as if she’s seeing straight past Nat, mouth slightly agape. She looks almost dead.
