Sanzu had convinced himself that he had come to terms with the fact his childhood friends would rather cling to their newly formed relationships than remain by his side but a recent mission had him sympathize with the traitors' reasoning and it cut those freshly closed wounds wide open for all to see.
Now, he was spending his birthday scouting out the traitors newest gang while lamenting on the fact that his dearest friends had forgotten and abandoned him completely.
Or: It's Sanzu's birthday and I wrote this as a way to have him rekindle his strained relationships while giving him the greatest gift of all, Mikey.

Baji Keisuke was searching high and low for an apology gift for his friend after punching his scooter, the bakery had sweet treats for everyone and he knew Mikey had a sweet tooth - the old hag waving her freshly bought goods was practically asking to get robbed anyway.
Hanemiya Kazutora usually lost himself within his favorite video games after altercations with his father but this time, he needed to run and needed to breathe. His attempt at running away had left him incoherently shaking on a bench within the city but the piercing sounds of screeching and cackling forced him to focus his attention back into surroundings, he couldn't help but feel enraptured by the feral boy who was whirling around incensed adult NPC's.
