    When Deku discovers the flames on his skin represent his soulmate bond to Kacchan, he hides the tattoo from everyone. After attending a high school that specializes in technological advancements and emergency rescue, Deku lands a job as a computer engineer/repair technician. He has spent several years actively ignoring his tattoo and trying to forget about his soulmate, but his job leads him back to Bakugou who is recently divorced. Deku has always had a heart of gold and can't bring himself to abandon his old childhood bully in his time of need. Divorces are messy, especially since Bakugou's ex-husband left him for his soulmate.
