Luxury hotel heiress Kim Taeyeon thought nothing of it when Jessica Jung, #1 socialite per WealthFactor dot com and CEO of high-end fashion brand Evil Corp (not the real name; Taeyeon just likes calling it that), pretended to be her date to get out of an ex-boyfriend predicament. It was only for 15 minutes, no big deal even if they were rivals of some sort. But things take a complicated turn when Jessica suggested that they keep up the dating rumors to generate hype for Taeyeon's new hotel.

Summary
It was just a quick trip back to the city she doesn't call home anymore. A week at most, to attend her cousin's birthday party. No time for Jessica to revisit old places. No time catch up with old friends. No time to bump into Taeyeon.
Except on her first night back, drunk and weary and jetlagged as fuck, she gives the wrong address and winds up in Taeyeon's apartment building. She should leave it at that one stupid encounter. Let things return to the way they were. They were supposed to hate each other, after everything that happened. It was best for both parties to keep it at that.
So what if she's seen Taeyeon for the first time after all these years? So what if this thing blooming in her chest was not the hatred she thought she harbored for Taeyeon? So what if she invited Taeyeon for dinner and Taeyeon accepted? It was easy to walk away. After all, she's done it before.
She could do it again.
