    “your life for your friend’s life. and a promise you made. vormir saw it fit to give you a chance to be with those you care for as a reward for your nobility.”

    she stops.

    so does he.

    “that’s definitely something i’ve never heard before.” she says with a slight smirk. he raises an eyebrow at her.

    “a reward for nobility?” he says with wonder. she grins despite herself.

    “that i’m noble to begin with.”

    aka natasha romanoff died to save the universe. but what she left behind needs healing, too. luckily she's been given a second chance to help with that.
