Summary
Michael Emerson thinks David wants Star. He thinks the smirks, the taunts, the dares, and the blood are all part of some cruel game meant to make him jealous enough to lose control.
He is wrong.
Star was never the prize. She was the hook.
David has been watching Michael since the boardwalk, studying every flash of anger, every protective instinct, every reckless step toward the edge.
