It was still a revelation, sometimes, that they were able to experience Tobio like this.
Hajime knew, after all they’d done, that Tobio had no reason to accept them as his soulmates again. Neither of them could’ve blamed the younger boy for ignoring them for the rest of his life—Except, he didn’t.
Tobio gave them another chance, the reason why they were able to be with him now.
It was hard, especially with how little affection Tobio showed them, but Hajime and Tooru had learned to take the small victories in stride.
