Vi is an Italian rugby player who moves to the US when her father is transferred to work in Los Angeles. Summary
Vi is the star of her team, and its captain. She is determined to take them to the nationals, return the Hounds to the champions they once were, but being stripped off of their arena turns it into a harder challenge than it already was.
Caitlyn is the jewel of the crown in her sport. Delicate as a sprout, but unbreakable as a diamond. She has her eyes in one objetive and one objetive only: win the Ice Skating Championship, but her goal is pushed further away when the Hockey team crashes the Figure Skating arena.
One incident leaves them on the verge of losing everything they have given their sweat and tears for their entire lives.
For their good luck, they do have a salvation. One last chance at making their dream touch the real world. For their bad luck, that salvation is each other.

She had promised herself that she would never ask her parents for money again. The calendar mocked her from her office, its evil little voice echoing down the hall. She’d have to move back in with them, wouldn’t she? Once this fell through? The surveillance. The servants. The smells and sounds of sickness. The home nurse flitting around and around like a gnat.
