From around the time when he was 12, Max Emilian Verstappen had begun day-dreaming about being an unknown, anonymous figure, known solely for what he could deliver on track, with no media to hyperanalyze his stats or to question his overtakes, his defending, or his aggressive style; with no one to ever shame him for what his heart most desired. As the possibility of climbing through the feeder series to get to Formula 1 became more tangible, Max knew he had to make a change. He had to become completely anonymous to the world around him for a chance at being free.
