Someone had died on this patch of earth. “Tell me something” Ryu says, sitting down beside him. His comb slips out of his pocket, his current state isn’t much different from being dead. “How does the sun feel?”
“I don’t understand what you mean.” Okkotsu looks up at him from the ground, his lips cracking as they stretch. His energy courses through his body like opioids, strong and fast. His cursed energy reserve recovers, and the ends of his hair curls. “I guess I’m in your position now.”
