Summary
Astarion is near the docks when he feels Cazador's compulsion on him snap. He doesn't think twice. He just takes the next available ship out of Baldur's Gate. Its destination: The City of Splendors. Waterdeep.

Gale takes back the glass, now empty, and then seems to fidget a little. “There is something I wanted to get your opinion on- but it can wait until you’ve recovered. You don’t look well at all- no offense meant, of course.”
“None taken,” Astarion says sweetly. “Please go on. Tell me exactly what it is about my appearance that you find lacking.”

Summary
The vampire's eyes are wide and round, full of amazement. They dart wildly around the sights below, as if trying to see everything at once. The lights of the city reflect upon his face, soft shadows dancing across his elegant features. The very tips of his fangs are visible from his parted lips.
The radiance of the city pales in comparison.

Two months after the brain falls, Baldur's Gate has picked up most of the pieces. The heroes that saved Faerûn have been there through most of it, helping the city get back on its feet. But now it's time to move on. Old lives and families to return to. Gale is going back to his tower in Waterdeep, back to the quiet, back to being alone; or at least, that was the plan. But plans change.
This is a story about falling in love.

Summary
Shaking his head in amusement, Wriothesley picked up a pitcher labelled 'Waterfalls on Watatsumi Island - crisp and tart, with a hint of sweetness that lingers' by Neuvillette's elegant script and poured himself a glass. It was endearing and more than a little sad to imagine Monsieur Neuvillette patting himself on the back for coming up with such colorful descriptions--only for his insights to go unappreciated by the tasteless masses.
Three days after sharing an umbrella with Neuvillette in the rain, Wriothesley received an invitation to a water-tasting party in the mail.
