hi. me and my roommate have been living together for two years now. we became inseparable basically the moment he moved in. ever since, we started doing everything together. and by that i mean from doing movie nights every week to doing grocery shopping. when H (that's how im gonna refer to him here) entered my life, i even stopped partying unless he was with me. one day, my sister and her girlfriend teased me about how me and H spent more time doing “couple stuff” than them that were literally dating.

“Hot, dad, hot” Chubby little hands pressed against his cheeks was what made Henry finally stir on the bed.
“Hey, hey. Come here.” His husband's voice then filled the room, his weight soon being felt on the bed as he sat by Henry's side. His hand immediately went to his forehead.
“Baby, you're burning up.” Henry, like any other grown man his age, groaned in response before slowly opening his eyes. He then found out even the simple act of opening his eyes hurt. His head was pounding.
“Papi, is dad sick?”
I'm okay, love was what Henry wanted to say, his automatic way of comforting their daughter. But he was unable to do so, though, due to his dry throat.
God, he felt awful.
“It seems like it, bear. But be quiet, okay? Your dad needs to rest and Papi is going to take care of him.”
Or, Henry is sick and Alex takes care of him.
