    To be born beautiful was considered by most a blessing, and not without reason. It was a sign of favor from the gods, and fickle and violent as they were, any kindness from them was to be accepted readily and gratefully. Beauty brought with it many opportunities and prospects, for glory and for love alike; it made life easier. It was a gift.

    A loose retelling of the myth of Eros and Psyche. Tadashi, condemned by his own beauty to either live in utter solitude or be killed by the jealous God of Beauty should anyone ever lay eyes upon him, finds himself saved from his lonely fate by a mysterious deity who claims him as his husband. He is taken from his life of suffering and brought to a glorious sanctuary where all his needs are met and no harm can come to him again. But fate can only be outrun for so long, and outside the gates of his Eden, love may not be enough to protect him for long.
