“Good morning, boys.” Konno knelt down to the children's level with a smile, “This is Fujisaki. Please say hello to him and make him feel welcome. But try approaching him one at a time, okay? He is a really shy boy, and we don’t want to scare him away on his first day.”
His classmates appeared happy to have a new addition to their class, taking turns saying hello and introducing themselves to Fujisaki.
However, there was one boy with pink hair and sunglasses who stared up at him without moving from his seat. Yet, Fujisaki had no idea whether he was staring at him or had his gaze fixed elsewhere—it was difficult to tell with the sunglasses he wore on his head.
“It’s okay, Fujisaki. That’s Yuri. I’ll show you to your seat.”
