Taehyun was too foggy-brained and buzzed to rack his mind for the answer, so he silently shook his head. “It used to be a celebration of werewolves and vampires; all the humans would gather for a night of hunting the monsters and bringing their bodies back home.”
Ah, Taehyun vaguely remembered something like this being explained in his sixth-grade history class one time. “Well.” He shrugged. “That was a long time ago. It’s not like I was there.”
“Well I was.” The man spoke so silently, almost a whisper. He wasn’t angry or scolding, but simply waiting for Taehyun’s reaction.
And Taehyun…He had no idea what to think. Did this - guy just admit to…no way…no fucking way. “Oh.”
“Oh.” The vampire repeated, a little smile appearing on his face once more. Well, now Taehyun’s innate fear response made sense. “You won’t run away, will you?”

Alpha Taehyun and his friends decided to visit a spooky hedge maze for Halloween. Taehyun just didn't expect to get drunkenly lost and thus ensnared by a thousand-year-old vampire on the journey.
