Suddenly it fell like scales from his eyes. Of course how hadn’t he thought about it before. He wanted to slap himself, “Don’t ever apologize for being sick to me. Do you think I actually care? Like don’t you get it? After everything that happened I chose to be with you. It was a deliberate decision I made because I love you. I’d even say I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Do I have to tattoo it onto my forehead for you to finally understand it? I don’t need some kind of Mr. Perfect in my life, I can take care of myself just fine. I just need you as healthy as possible and I’m more than content.”
“Please no forehead tattoos,” Jooyeon said weakly.
“No forehead- I’m sorry but that’s what you took out of my speech about my infinite love for you? Can I still take it back or is it too late now?” Jungsu said feigning indignation.
Both of them started giggling.
“Don’t ever think you’re any less than what I deserve because I deserve to be happy and I fear you’re the only one who is capable of keeping me happy”
