“I proposed to Izuku.” He finally decided to say, ignoring her gasp of delight. “Twice.”

Embarrassment was settling into the bottom of his stomach as he hauled himself into a sitting position.
“Don’t look at me like that.” He growled, pointedly avoiding her horribly exaggerated dread-ridden features.
“You were rejected and you weren’t even man enough to accept that?” She shrieked, lifting a hand to cover her mouth, “what kind of pathetic son did I raise?!”
“It’s not like that, Hag!” He seathed, shoulders hunching forward in a mixture of aggression and humiliation, “he accepted both times but-” he sighed, face beginning to burn hot as he looked away to the wall, “I don’t think he understood them.”
