Kris was done. They weren't going to tolerate the interdimensional invader in their ribcage any longer. And if they had to open a fountain to get rid of it, they were going to.
Or at least, they were. Until that invader offered something new: the chance to remember between resets. To make their own decisions with nothing more than some minor advice and a helping hand if requested. Naturally, Kris was interested. And that's why they woke up on Thursday morning, remembering two days that technically hadn't happened yet.
Messing with the code can be delicate work. Do the wrong thing at the wrong time, and the bridge might just break. Or change fundamentally.
It's a good thing nothing like that could happen, right?

Summary

After Noelle followed Kris and Susie into the closet, she discovered the Dark World and the Prophecy, and now her life has gotten much more interesting.
When her friend Berdly invites her to study in the library, she discovers that the closet Dark World isn't the only Dark World in Hometown.
(This is the second work in the series, which takes place in Chapter 2)
