Idunna Smith had always known death, but it never bothered her. In fact, death was a regular thing to her. Growing up in the Scouts was what she had known, and what she planned on being. Joining the cadets to follow in her parent's footsteps, faced with the challenges of training and relationships? She doesn't have time for that, at least that's what she thinks. Becoming close friends with a particular boy leads her down a winding and twisting path, but she wouldn't have it any other way, at least at first.
