After wandering somewhat aimlessly, Dio eventually found a trace of someone else. Johnny Joestar's tent wasn't hard to spot. It was the only one with a fucking American flag stitched haphazardly into the fabric, like some kind of patriotic eyesore. Diego's lip curled. He could hear the muffled voices inside—Johnny's whiney, grumbling tone, and that infuriatingly snarky Italian bastard laughing at something. The sound made Diego's stomach twist. Maybe it was jealousy, maybe it was just pure annoyance. …He’d rather tell himself it was annoyance.
When he got closer, he stared for a moment with hesitation. Why was he of all people hesitating?
