    “And how do you plan to do that exactly?” Overhaul asks, raising a thin brow.

    “I’ve heard you like to experiment, right? Developing black market drugs and stuff?” He hopes the rumours are true. “Well, you can have my son…”

    There’s a beat of silence. And then another. Overhaul’s yellow eyes stare him down blankly all the while. It feels like it goes on forever until finally, with a flick of Overhaul’s wrist, Midoriya’s arms are released.

    “S-So… Do we have a deal?” Midoriya squeaks, his wife’s crying face pulled flush against his bleeding neck.

    “We do,” Chisaki answers easily.
