Summary
My friend has been acting odd, recently. He acts almost the same- still joking around with me, still making sure I get to school on time, still walking me home. If anything, I'd say he's been nicer than usual. Usually, he teases me and complains when looking after me. We worry about each other, you see. He worries I'm scattered brained and I worry he's going to end up as a NEET. I know he can do amazing things if he just tries and he insists the same for me. But recently, he's been... nicer. Fussing even more over me. It's not a bad change, not by a long shot. He doesn't call me a burden anymore- was guilty when I even brought it up, apologizing to me. But I get the sense that something is bothering him. And I get the sense that it's something big.
So, I've decided. I'm going to invite my friend to the literature club I'm vice president of. Whatever is bothering him, I hope this will cheer him up.
(I'm sure nothing can go wrong from this.)
