Summary
Shen Yuan is a nine-year-old kid considered weird by the people around him, simply because he has a massive hyperfixation on monsters, insects, and bizarre creatures. Despite this, Luo Binghe, a little boy one year younger than him, doesn’t seem to care about how strange Shen Yuan is.
Well, actually, that’s because Luo Binghe is even weirder — not just him, but his entire family. But… apparently, Shen Yuan doesn’t seem to mind that either, not when Luo Binghe is just too adorable. And even though the whole town says Luo Binghe’s house is creepy and his family is spooky, Shen Yuan realizes that, in truth, they’re all really nice.

Summary
Luo Binghe had always wanted to take revenge on his former culinary teacher. However, upon discovering that Shen Jiu had died, Luo Binghe shifted his focus entirely to Shen Yuan, as, in his view, Shen Yuan had always tolerated the abuses committed by his brother and enjoyed the privileges that came with it.
But on Christmas Eve, Luo Binghe is visited by the ghost of Shen Jiu, who tells him that he doesn’t want Luo Binghe to suffer a fate as bad as his own. In this, Luo Binghe receives three ghosts who take him through a journey of his past, present, and future.
Through this experience, Luo Binghe realizes that everything he thought about Shen Yuan was wrong. And that, if he didn't change, he would end up just like Shen Jiu: losing the person who cared for him the most.
