Theo knows the wolfsbane is really starting to get to him because he hears himself say, “You smell so good.” It’s true, but definitely not the kind of thing he needs to have coming out of his mouth right now, especially not if it means Liam is going to look at him like that (full of wonder, and fear, and a sort of open wound tenderness the likes of which Theo has never experienced in his entire life and is absolutely not prepared to start handling now, while his brain is being eaten away by poison and the only way to fix it is to put his nightmares in Liam’s hands and tell him to use them).
Theo is a selkie. Theo also gets captured. The two things aren’t related, but somehow Liam manages to get involved with both.
