    Miya slurped his smoothie, sitting in the shadow of the Kyan’s porch right next to a bowl of fruit. He watched in contemplative silence as Reki tried a few easy tricks, wobbling a bit but never actually falling.

    “You know, your legs are getting the workout of their lives”, he noted. “Also, you’ll probably be ready to do some easy runs on S by the time Langa is back.”

    “That’s the idea”, replied the other, skating closer and snatching a piece of apple as he went. Miya had to admire his balance, because holy fuck.

    “He’s gonna die.”

    “What did you say?”

    “Nothing."
