Summary
It was simply a fact that Ferdinand was free with his affection. A hand clasped on the shoulder of a stable hand who had flushed bright pink to be on the receiving end of the Prime Minister’s smile. A bright laugh and a hand pressed to the arm of a minor noble who certainly didn’t deserve even an ounce of Ferdinand’s attention. A full embrace for Dorothea on one of her trips back from Brigid, lifting her clean off the floor to spin her around and around and around with joy.
The only person who didn’t seem to garner the same attention was Hubert himself.

Summary
Hanahaki. It was a fairly uncommon disease in Fódlan, one he only familiarized himself with in case Edelgard would ever be afflicted with it. Another less than ideal circumstance brought about by crests, history told that those blessed by the goddess could be susceptible to the disease as if the goddess was trying to give them some sort of sign. Petra and Shamir both had never heard of the illness, confirming it to be a burden among only those with crests.

Summary
So: Lorenz’s home. Claude has seen the courtyard and the stables and the countless horses. He has noticed the respectful deference of the soldiers toward Lorenz, the fond politeness of the servants. The elderly woman who must be the housekeeper fusses when she realizes Lorenz was injured recently. After hours on a horse, there is no way for him to deny that he is hurting, which leads to the housekeeper to send for the keep’s physician.
This is how Claude finds himself in Lorenz’s room.
