A courtesan is a grave of secrets. They speak in sweet breaths carrying false words to desperate ears. They are entertainers. They are well-studied and refined, they are models of elegance. A courtesan can recite the most thought-provoking poetry if asked, and she does not need a blade to bend the backs of even the mightiest-standing men. They dance a pretty dance, give offerings of demure glances and delicate smiles. They are an illusion manifested, a dream you can realize; but only for a price.
