Summary
Mycroft had nothing against the Caribbean but he did have something against cruises. A large ship in the middle of the waters composed of many unwitting suburban families and less-than-attentive workers alongside the obvious disconnection from his homeland made a good nightmare for him.
But he couldn’t help but think about the drinks he drank, the dances he danced, the touches he left on that wonderful, absolutely seductive woman he met at the bar on the third night of the cruise. Anyone who has met a glimpse of the man he was could confidently confirm that he was not a person who frequented sentiment—a title he wore with pride. Yet now, as he stared at the calm, swirling glass of whisky in his hands, he was no longer sure if that crown belonged to him anymore.
TL;DR: After an interesting holiday in the famous Caribbean cruise, a fateful meeting in 221B reunites Mycroft with a recent flame and a longtime enemy deemed necessary evil.
