Summary
Luca Haas is lucky. No matter how much he knows this in his brain, his body doesn't cooperate. There are too many choices that he has to make, and all of them much too soon. Too much stress on the mind of a teenager that will decide the direction of his entire life. Deep down in his brain he knows that no matter what he chooses he will probably be alright, he's already generating buzz about his potential as an MLH prospect a full year earlier than most would even be looked at by scouts. Everyone he's ever met, whether they liked him or not frankly, has told him he is a talented artist and he loves his drawings. And on top of it all, he's pretty strong in most school subjects too.
Hockey has always been Luca's top interest, but with the real possibility of attending nearly any program or university he wants after secondary school - from the camps that lead to professional hockey to the best art schools in Europe, hell he could probably even get into med school if he suddenly had the desire - the overwhelming amount of choices paralyzes him.
Luca needs to let go of his anxiety or else the impending decisions he will face with family, friends, and love will only leave an even worse mark.
