Summary
Fervently, Sakusa tugged on the door handle as if pulling hard enough would undo the lock. Atsumu didn’t understand how he could wear a mask in the late summer heat– he could only imagine the humidity lingering under the fabric. He finally relented, unlocking the door as Sakusa stumbled backwards with its opening. He ignored Atsumu’s question, climbing inside the truck with a sense of hesitancy that caused Atsumu’s fingers to tighten around the steering wheel.
“Good to see you too, Kiyoomi-kun,” Atsumu welcomed, pressing his heavy foot to the gas and speeding out of the parking lot. Sakusa’s body was flung towards the passenger door, head slamming against the window before he had the chance to buckle.
Or; in which Atsumu and Sakusa become teammates constantly at each other's throats, and then some.
