Summary
I blame the new BBC series on this. I have loved everything d'Artagnan since I first read a Dumas novel.
This is my first time writing in this genre so If anyone leaves comments be kind. I usually write in the Stargate SG-1 genre and have for many years.
This is my take on what would have happened if Alexandre d'Artagnan kept a long held secret from his son.

A new story in the Musketeer's saga having nothing at all to do with my other series.
This reflects the same characters as in the BBC production.
Someone is killing priests. The Musketeers have to find out who is behind the murders.
D'Artagnan hurt/comfort as usual.

Summary
Birthday boy gets his own surprise.
I finally decided to go with names for the Musketeer's horses as everyone seems to be doing.
Roger for Athos, Belle for Aramis, Zad for d'Artagnan and made up the name Roulette for Porthos. Since Porthos is the gambler of the group I thought it apt, especially since in French Roulette means Chance. Pretty much sums up Porthos, huh?Bookmarked by xiraffe
