Ten years after he made that promise with Zoro at Wano, he isn't so sure he made the right call to ask him for something that big. After all, he made a promise with someone that lives and breaths to protect. If Zoro isn't able to do it, he has no other choice to save the pain of who he loves most from the curse that is embedded in his blood.
