Summary

After one particularly brutal beating, Harry’s magic tries to save him, and he unintentionally conjures a patronus charm. This finds its way to one moody potions master- who quickly realises nobody else will do what he has been asked to do. This leaves Severus tasked with pulling them both from the grips of Dumbledore and his intricate plans- whilst finding his way with a troubled little boy who can't help but steal his heart.
