Summary
Mr. Boss tells Allan something that makes a lot of sense, but that also is a little bit jarring. What even is a 'critter fetish'?

Summary
Allan finally learns how to relax and Mr. Boss teaches him how. The beauty of life is that we constantly learn something new about ourselves and our inner desires. For Allan, this situation was eye-opening, and he is willing to make the most out of the opportunity provided to him. And Mr. Boss...Well, he is Mr. Boss.

Summary
Then Jimmy laughs. It's uncertain at first, like a trickle before a deluge, before it all comes out. Then Curly and Jimmy are laughing together again. It's not funny because his radiator is probably cracked now and he hates asking his parents for money. It's incredulous. Curly should have known better to watch for wildlife out here. Maybe it's a little funny. It's bad luck.
Curly falls back in his seat with a shotgunned huff and puts his face in his hands. That little noosphere that Curly and Jimmy shares sees the shitty radio station switched off without Curly even reaching for it. The wind beats against the vehicle, louder now without the music.
"I think you hit a fucking deer. Dixon or Cupid, maybe."
(jimmy and curly hide a body because curly DUIs while he's still in aviation school. the end)

Summary
A beat passes, the stars outside twinkling, their silence almost deafening. You exhale, feeling the weight lift slightly.
"Let’s make sure we both make it out of this one, yeah?" you say, your voice steady, but your heart betrays you with its uncertainty.
Curly’s expression softens, but there’s something in his eyes, a quiet promise. "We will."
For a moment, the room feels smaller, the universe outside seemingly on pause, and for just a fleeting second, you almost forget that everything ahead of you could unravel at any moment.
Almost.
